At Nestpulse we take care of your family's information. This policy explains what data we keep, why, and how you can control it.

1. What data we collect

• Account: your email address and password (the password is stored encrypted).
• Family information that you enter: your children's names or nicknames, ages, food preferences, menus, shopping lists, appointments, activities and chores.
• Phone alerts: if you turn them on, an identifier for your device so we can send you notifications.
• Approximate location: only if you tap "Allow my location" for the weather alert. We save your approximate area (rounded coordinates, not your exact address) to send you tomorrow's forecast. You can turn it off any time in the app. To get the forecast, those approximate coordinates are sent to the U.S. National Weather Service or, outside the U.S., to OpenWeather.
• Payments: processed by our payment provider. We receive the status of your subscription, not your card details.

2. What we use it for

Only to provide the service: showing your menu and calendar, syncing them across your devices, sending you alerts and managing your subscription. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

3. Children's data

You enter your children's information yourself. We recommend using only a first name or a nickname. We use it solely to personalize your menu, your calendar and your alerts, and we do not share it with third parties for any other purpose.

4. Who we share it with

We use providers that help us run the service: hosting and database (Supabase), site delivery (Cloudflare), notifications (OneSignal), email delivery and payments (our payment provider). They receive only what they need to do their job.

5. How long we keep it

For as long as you have your account. If you delete it, we erase your data, except for what the law requires us to keep (for example, payment records).

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, download or delete your data by writing to the contact email. We will respond as soon as we can.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and each account can only see its own information. No system is infallible, but we work to protect it.

8. Changes

If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with its date.
